About Our Personal Care Services
Every person has different needs, routines, and preferences. Our personal care services are designed to provide the right level of support while allowing our clients to remain as independent as possible in their own homes.
Our Nursing Assistants provide respectful, compassionate assistance to seniors and adults with disabilities throughout Watertown, South Dakota, and surrounding communities. Whether someone needs a little extra help each day or more consistent support, we work with clients and their families to create a care plan that fits their individual needs.
Our personal care services may include:
Personal Hygiene
- Dressing & grooming
- Bathing, showering or bed baths
- Toileting assistance, commode cleaning, staying regular
- Skin care includes lotions, powders or creams
- Foot care with soaking, pumice stone, filing, creams & massage
- Nail cleaning, trimming, filing and polishing
- Oral Hygiene including dentures and partials
- Shaving and moisturizer or after shave
- Hair treatment including conditioners, curlers and scalp massage
Daily Living & Health Support
- Assistance with mobility including walker and wheelchair
- Transfer assistance
- Medication reminders
- Tech solutions (Medication, fall monitoring, safe transfers)
- General observation, monitoring, tracking and reporting to a doctor
- Supervision during wandering or elopement concerns
- Assistance with daily routines. We are on your schedule.
- Companionship, hosting friends & family and other social life needs
- Playing games, doing hobbies and other activities of interest
- Involvement in the community: people, church, events and programs
