Watching someone you love experience Alzheimer’s disease or dementia can be difficult, and knowing what kind of help they need isn’t always easy. Guardian provides compassionate, individualized care designed around your loved one’s needs, routines, and comfort. Our caregivers can provide support throughout the day, with evening and nighttime care available. As your loved one’s needs change, we can adjust the level of support to help them remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible in the home they know and love. For families who need more extensive support, 24-hour care is also available.
Needing skilled care does not necessarily mean you need to leave the home you love. Guardian provides skilled nursing support that helps clients receive the care they need while remaining in familiar surroundings. Our nurses provide individualized care based on each client’s needs, working closely with clients, families, and other members of the care team. From medication administration and diabetes management to catheter care, mobility assistance, and other specialized needs, our goal is to provide thoughtful, dependable care that allows our clients to remain comfortable, safe, and as independent as possible at home.
Getting where you need to go is an important part of staying independent and connected to the people and places you enjoy. Guardian can provide safe, dependable transportation for doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping, church, errands, visits with friends, or simply getting out of the house for a change of scenery. Whether it’s an important appointment or a ride into town for coffee with a friend, our caregivers are happy to help. Transportation can also be included as part of an ongoing care plan for clients who need regular assistance getting where they need to go.
Specialized & Flexible Care
Not every need for care fits into a standard service. Sometimes you simply need an extra set of hands for a special occasion, a short-term recovery, or a situation that requires a little more support. Guardian can provide personalized assistance for those moments—whether that means accompanying a loved one to a granddaughter’s wedding so the whole family can enjoy the day, providing extra help during recovery after surgery, or traveling with a client who needs assistance with personal care, transfers, or other daily needs along the way.
Care doesn’t always need to be long-term or part of a regular schedule. If something important is coming up and you need someone you can trust to be there, talk to us. We’ll work with you to find a way to help.
Scheduling That Fits You
Every person’s needs are different, and the amount of support you need can change over time. At Guardian, care can be arranged for just a few hours a month, on a regular schedule, or around the clock. We offer this flexibility because we believe quality of life is about more than meeting health needs—it’s about having the support to stay independent, remain connected to the people and places you love, and continue doing the things that bring you joy.
